Zihin.ai MCP server

by zihin-ai · official

Let your AI build and manage Zihin.ai agents, tools, triggers and budgets for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Zihin.ai, a platform for building AI agents. Once it is set up, you can ask your assistant to create agents, add tools to them, set up triggers and check how they are doing, all in plain chat. It is handy if you already use Zihin.ai and want to skip clicking around the dashboard.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to Zihin.ai, so it can look things up there and make changes for you. You just ask in normal words, and the helper passes the request along.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like create a new agent for customer support. Your AI uses this helper, which talks to the Zihin.ai platform over the internet using your Zihin API key. Zihin does the work, like creating the agent or listing your existing ones. The result comes back into your chat as a clear answer, a list, or a note that the change was made.

What you can do with it

  • List all the agents in your Zihin.ai account
  • Create a new agent with a name, persona and instructions
  • Add a tool to an existing agent
  • Set up a webhook trigger for an agent
  • Check budgets and approvals for your agents
  • Run diagnostics on an agent
  • Chat with one of your agents and get its reply

Try asking your AI

  • “Show me all my agents on Zihin.ai”
  • “Create a new agent called Support Helper for answering refund questions”
  • “Add a tool to Support Helper that looks up order status”
  • “Set up a webhook trigger for Support Helper”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in your chat: lists of agents, details about a specific agent, or a confirmation that something was created or changed. When you chat with an agent, you get that agent's full reply in one message. If something goes wrong, you get an error message with an execution id and session id you can share with Zihin support.

Before you start

What you need

  • A Zihin.ai account
  • A Zihin API key (a kind of password for apps; you get one from your Zihin.ai settings)
  • Node.js version 20 or newer on your computer

Good to know

It can create and change things in your Zihin.ai account, and chatting with an agent uses real LLM credits on your account.

Install it with your AI

Add Zihin.ai MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Zihin.ai MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,361 MCP servers here for you.
