Carrington Coleman Adds AI and Data Law Specialists
Carrington Coleman has hired Kate Morris and Russ Pearlman, two attorneys from the recently closed Hosch & Morris, to strengthen its technology and AI legal practice in Dallas. The move reflects growing client demand for specialized counsel on AI governance, data privacy, and cybersecurity matters.
Morris brings experience advising clients on regulatory issues tied to sensitive data-personal, financial, healthcare, and proprietary information. She holds multiple certifications in privacy law and has built a reputation in data privacy and AI work.
Pearlman focuses on AI governance, cybersecurity, and technology transactions across professional services, media, and technology sectors. He also serves as Chief Information Officer at Dallas College, where he leads enterprise technology strategy and oversees AI policy development.
Monica Latin, managing partner at Carrington Coleman, said the hires strengthen the firm's ability to help clients navigate "rapidly evolving issues in AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and technology transactions."
Morris said in a statement: "The circumstances are bittersweet, but we look forward to our next chapter, practicing with the exceptional attorneys and leadership of Carrington Coleman."
