Cloudbeds rolls out major platform upgrades for hotels managing groups, spaces, and complex operations
Cloudbeds announced a broad set of platform updates on June 2, 2026, designed to help hotels capture additional revenue and streamline operations. The Spring Release adds tools for group sales, meeting space bookings, direct reservations, accounting, reporting, and a conversational AI interface called Ask Signals.
The updates address specific pain points in hotel operations. Group bookings represent 20% to 60% of revenue at many large hotels, yet much of that business still runs through spreadsheets and email. The new Groups & Events feature brings those workflows into the platform with branded proposals, group booking links, rooming list management, and multi-property visibility.
Revenue capture beyond guestrooms
A feature called Spaces extends the platform beyond room inventory. Hotels can now manage meeting rooms, ballrooms, pool cabanas, and other rentable assets within the same system. The Immersive Booking Engine keeps the full booking process on a hotel's website, helping properties improve direct booking conversion rates while maintaining brand consistency.
Operations and finance infrastructure
The Calendar, a complete rebuild of the platform's core workspace, now supports properties with more than 4,000 rooms and 30 concurrent users. Front desk, housekeeping, and revenue teams get real-time updates, advanced filtering, and customizable settings designed for larger operations.
On the finance side, Cloudbeds Accounting introduces USALI-aligned reporting standards, enhanced audit trails, and dedicated accounts receivable tracking. A new Accounting API simplifies integrations with third-party accounting systems. Cloudbeds Insights delivers a redesigned reporting experience with simplified filtering and dashboard creation built into the workflow.
Conversational AI for hotel operations
Ask Signals, a conversational AI interface powered by Cloudbeds' Signals intelligence layer, represents an early entry into generative AI and LLM applications for hospitality. The tool lets hoteliers query data and receive insights through natural language rather than navigating traditional reporting interfaces.
Cloudbeds CEO Adam Harris framed the release around reducing complexity rather than adding features. "Hoteliers don't need more noise; they need a system deep enough to actually move their numbers," he said.
The updates represent one of the company's most comprehensive product expansions. Cloudbeds operates across more than 150 countries and serves tens of thousands of properties ranging from independent hotels to large groups.
For hospitality professionals managing operations, revenue, and guest experience, these updates reflect broader industry shifts toward AI for Hospitality & Events and consolidated management systems.
