Lightwave Logic Names Robert Blum Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Lightwave Logic (NASDAQ:LWLG) has appointed Robert Blum as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, effective May 19, 2025. Bringing over 20 years of experience, Dr. Blum specializes in strategic marketing and sales within silicon photonics, polymers, AI, and semiconductors.
His previous roles include Head of Product Line Management at Applied Materials' Photonics Platforms Business and Head of Silicon Photonics Strategy at Intel Corporation.
Driving Customer Engagement and Growth
In his new position, Dr. Blum will focus on expanding customer engagement and advancing Lightwave Logic’s go-to-market initiatives centered on their proprietary electro-optic (EO) polymers technology. This technology supports faster data transmission for AI clusters and datacenter optical connections.
He will report directly to CEO Yves LeMaitre, who expressed confidence in Dr. Blum’s ability to accelerate commercial efforts and broaden customer relationships for the company’s EO polymers.
