Qatar Airways has teamed up with Accenture to advance its business, operations, and customer service using artificial intelligence (AI). This collaboration is among the most strategic initiatives in Qatar Airways' current change portfolio, focusing on improving customer experience, boosting operational efficiency, and enhancing overall group performance.
Introducing AI Skyways: Driving AI Innovation
Together with Accenture, Qatar Airways launched AI Skyways, a dedicated program to manage AI innovation and benefits across the airline. AI Skyways will establish responsible AI practices, data and platform services, and a value realisation office to measure and maximise the impact of AI projects.
The program targets multiple aviation use cases, such as:
- Optimising flight schedules for better resource allocation
- Enhancing predictive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Personalising customer interactions for a smoother travel experience
AI Skyways also prepares Qatar Airways to assess emerging AI trends, helping the airline stay adaptable and resilient amid changing market conditions.

CEO of Qatar Airways, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, emphasized the significance of this partnership: “This collaboration with Accenture to establish AI Skyways marks a key milestone in our effort to become leaders in AI-driven aviation.
