AI agent for insurance claims processors

Claims Document Version Agent

A complete version history of every claim document.

Claims Document Version Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

In claim files, a newer document version can quietly replace an earlier one, and evidence is lost. When a new version arrives, this agent identifies the related earlier versions by identity, author and date. It compares the versions line by line. If the revision is a normal update, such as a corrected typo or an added attachment, it records it in the version map. If the revision contradicts earlier evidence, for example a changed time of loss, it keeps both versions side by side and notes the unexplained change for the adjuster. It never overwrites or deletes history. Edge case: a witness statement is resubmitted with the same file name but a different account of who was driving, so both versions stay and the change is flagged.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensOn June 18 a revised repair estimate arrived for claim 62-310. The agent linked it to the May 30 version and compared them. Labor rose from $3,100 to $4,600 with no explanation, so the contradiction check flagged it. The agent kept both versions, noted the unexplained change and drafted a question for the adjuster. The adjuster reviewed the version map and requested the shop's breakdown.
