AIR Blackbox MCP server
by airblackbox
Check your AI code for EU AI Act and GDPR issues, and get suggested fixes, right from your chat.

AIR Blackbox is a helper that lets your AI assistant look over Python code written for AI agents and tell you where it might run into EU AI Act or GDPR trouble. It also suggests fixes and can write a compliance report for you. It is handy if you build or review AI agents and want a second pair of eyes without leaving your chat window.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program you connect once, and it gives your AI a new skill. This one gives your AI the skill of checking AI-related Python code against EU AI Act and GDPR rules. After you connect it, you can just ask your AI to scan a file or a folder, and it will use this helper behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like scan this file for EU AI Act issues. Your AI passes that request to the AIR Blackbox helper running on your computer. The helper reads your code, checks it against a set of rules tied to six EU AI Act articles, and looks for prompt injection patterns and risky tool calls. It sends the findings back to your AI, which shows them to you in plain language, along with suggested fixes or a written report if you asked for one.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Scan a piece of Python code you paste in
- Scan a single Python file on your computer
- Scan a whole folder of Python files at once
- Check text for prompt injection attempts
- Classify how risky a tool like send_email is under the EU AI Act
- Get fix suggestions tied to a specific article
- Generate a full markdown compliance report
- Explain what a given EU AI Act article requires
Try asking your AI
- “Scan this code for EU AI Act compliance”
- “Check this text for prompt injection”
- “What does Article 12 require?”
- “Generate a compliance report for my project folder”
- “Classify the risk level of send_email”
What it gives back to you
You get back a list of findings, each with a short description and the article it relates to. If you ask for a report, you get a full markdown document you can save or share. Fix suggestions come back as code snippets or step-by-step notes. Everything shows up right in your chat, so you can read it and copy what you need.

Good to know
It reads your code files, so only point it at folders you are comfortable sharing with your AI assistant, and remember its findings are guidance, not legal advice.
