CanaryGuard 402 MCP server
Check text for hidden tricks and sneaky characters before your AI acts on it.
CanaryGuard 402 is a safety helper for AI agents. It looks at text your AI is about to trust and flags sneaky instructions, hidden characters, and wallet traps. It is handy if you paste in stuff from the web, emails, or other people and want your AI to stay safe.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to CanaryGuard, a checking service. When you ask your AI to look at some text, the AI sends it to CanaryGuard, and CanaryGuard tells the AI if the text looks dangerous.
What this MCP server does
You give your AI some text, like an email or a web page. Your AI sends that text to CanaryGuard through this MCP server. CanaryGuard scans it for prompt-injection tricks, hidden Unicode characters, and honeypot wallet addresses. It then sends back a report saying what it found. Your AI can then decide to ignore the text, clean it, or warn you.
What you can do with it
- Check a suspicious email for hidden instructions
- Scan a web page before your AI reads it
- Detect sneaky Unicode characters in copied text
- Test if a wallet address is a known honeypot
- Sanitize text so your AI can use it safely
- Get a simple risk score for any text
Try asking your AI
- “Check this email for prompt injection before I summarize it”
- “Is this web page safe for you to read?”
- “Scan this text for hidden characters”
- “Does this wallet address look like a honeypot?”
What it gives back to you
CanaryGuard gives back a report in your chat. It tells you if the text is clean or risky. It may show a risk score, list any hidden characters, and warn about wallet traps. You also get a cleaned version of the text if you want to use it.
