Revettr is a risk checking service for people and AI agents that send money online. You give it a wallet address, a website, an IP address or a company name, and it comes back with a score from 0 to 100 telling you how risky that counterparty looks. It is handy if you use AI agents that pay for things on your behalf and you want a safety net before any money leaves your account.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot look anything up in the outside world unless you give it a helper. An MCP server is exactly that helper: a small program that hands your AI a new skill. This one connects your AI to Revettr, so when you ask about a wallet or a website, the AI can go and get a real risk score for you instead of guessing.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like whether a wallet address is safe to pay. The AI passes that address to this helper. The helper sends it to Revettr, which checks things like how old the wallet is, how many transactions it has, and whether the name shows up on sanctions lists. Revettr sends back a score, a risk tier and a list of flags explaining what it found. Your AI then tells you the answer in plain words in the chat.

What you can do with it

  • Score a crypto wallet before sending it money
  • Check if a website or domain looks trustworthy
  • Look up whether an IP address is hiding behind a VPN or Tor
  • Screen a company name against sanctions lists
  • Get a clear risk tier from low to critical
  • See exactly which flags lowered the score
  • Block payments automatically when a counterparty scores too low

Try asking your AI

  • “Is this wallet safe to send 50 USDC to: 0xd8dA6BF26964aF9D7eEd9e03E53415D37aA96045”
  • “Score this domain before I pay them: some-api.xyz”
  • “Check this IP address for VPN or Tor use: 185.220.101.42”
  • “Screen this company name against sanctions lists: Merchant LLC”

What it gives back to you

You get back a number from 0 to 100, a risk tier (low, medium, high or critical), and a confidence level. You also get a list of flags explaining what dragged the score down, like a brand new domain or a wallet that has never sent a transaction. In the chat it shows up as a short answer plus those details, so you can decide whether to go ahead or stop.

Before you start

What you need
