Atlas Przetargów MCP server

by atlasprzetargow

Lets your AI search Polish public tenders, check buyers and contractors by NIP, and pull market stats.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Find open construction tenders in Warsaw”, the Atlas Przetargów MCP server connects it to Atlas Przetargów, and you get back A list of tenders in your chat.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to Atlas Przetargów, a search platform for Polish public tenders. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI in normal words about tenders, buyers, contractors, or market numbers, and it will look them up for you. It is handy for anyone who works with Polish public procurement and does not want to click through a website all day.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill or one new connection. This server connects your AI to Atlas Przetargów, which holds over 800,000 Polish public tenders from the BZP and TED registries. So when you ask a question about tenders, your AI can go and fetch real answers from that platform instead of guessing.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI a question in plain language, like which construction tenders are open in Warsaw. Your AI passes that request to this helper, and the helper talks to the Atlas Przetargów platform. Atlas searches its database of Polish public tenders and sends the matching results back. Your AI then reads those results and gives you a tidy answer in the chat, with the tenders, numbers, or profiles you asked about.

What you can do with it

  • Search Polish public tenders by keyword, category, city, province, value, or deadline
  • Get the full details of one tender, including the buyer, category codes, value, and deadlines
  • Look up a procuring entity by its NIP and see who wins their contracts most often
  • Look up a contractor by their NIP and see which buyers they win from
  • Check market statistics for a category, such as how many tenders there are and the median value
  • Compare provinces or cities by procurement volume
  • Find the right CPV code from a Polish keyword, and read a glossary of procurement terms

Try asking your AI

  • “Find active construction tenders in Warsaw with a budget between 500,000 and 5 million PLN and show me the top 5”
  • “What is the median value of IT tenders in Poland last year?”
  • “Who most often wins contracts from the national roads authority?”
  • “Look up tender 2026/BZP 00202613 and tell me its key terms and risks”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat, not files to download. Depending on what you ask, that can be a list of tenders with their buyers, values, and deadlines, or a profile of a company with its top partners. It can also be a set of numbers, like how many tenders exist in a category and what the median value is. If you ask for an analysis, your AI will write it out for you using the data it fetched.

Before you start

What you need

  • An MCP-compatible AI app, such as the Claude desktop app
  • Node.js installed on your computer (the free program that runs the npx command)
  • An optional Atlas API key if you want AI-written tender summaries (the server works without it)

Good to know

The data comes from public registries and is meant for research and planning, so double-check important details against the official tender notice before you act on them.
