ERID ad marking checker

by atomno-mcp

Check whether a Russian ad marking token (erid) looks valid, and look it up in your VK ORD cabinet.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Check this erid for me: 2Vfnxw9K”, the ERID ad marking checker connects it to VK ORD cabinet, and you get back A short answer in the chat.

This is a small helper for people who deal with Russian online ad marking, the little erid token you see on ads. It can check whether a token is written in the right shape, and it can look the token up in your own VK ORD cabinet if you give it your key. It is handy if you place or manage ads in Russia and want a quick sanity check before you file or report anything.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill or one new connection. This helper connects your AI to erid ad marking tools, so when you ask about a token, the AI can actually check it instead of guessing. You stay in the chat, and the helper does the quiet work in the background.

What this MCP server does

You paste an erid token into the chat and ask your AI to check it. The AI passes it to this helper. The helper looks at the length and the characters and tells you if the format is right. If you have added your VK ORD key, the helper can also ask the VK operator cabinet whether that erid is known there. It can also give a short plain explanation of what marking rules say on a topic you name. It does not register ads and it does not search the full state registry.

What you can do with it

  • Check whether an erid token has the right length and characters
  • Look up an erid in your VK ORD cabinet using your own key
  • Get a short explanation of a marking rule topic
  • Tell the difference between a bad token and a token that is simply not in your cabinet
  • Ask for a quick sanity check before you file or report an ad

Try asking your AI

  • “Check this erid for me: <paste token>”
  • “Is this erid in my VK ORD cabinet?”
  • “Explain in simple words what ad marking requires for a banner”
  • “Does this token look valid or did I copy it wrong?”

What it gives back to you

You get short answers in the chat. For a format check, it tells you if the token looks valid or not. For a cabinet lookup, it says whether the token was found, and if not, it reminds you that this is not the whole state registry. For an explanation request, it gives a few plain sentences on the topic you asked about.

Before you start

What you need

  • Python and pipx (or uvx) on your computer if you install it yourself
  • A VK ORD account and its API key from the cabinet, only if you want the lookup feature
  • The erid token you want to check

Good to know

This is only a reader, not a registration tool, and its answers are not legal advice. The full state registry (ERIR) is closed, so a token that is not found in your VK cabinet may still exist elsewhere, and responsibility for correct marking stays with the advertiser or ad distributor.
