Citable MCP server

by zaialamm · official

Lets your AI buy SEO and AI-visibility checks by the call, paying a few cents in USDC from your own wallet.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “How does my page rank for home coffee grinders?”, the Citable MCP server connects it to Citable, and you get back answers in your chat.

Citable is a helper that lets your AI look up SEO data and AI-visibility data for you, paying a small amount per lookup. You do not need an account or a subscription. It is handy if you work in marketing, run a website, or just want to know how a page or a domain shows up in Google and in AI answers.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to Citable, a paid SEO and AI-visibility data service. When you ask a question, the AI uses this helper to fetch the data from Citable and brings the answer back to your chat.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like how a keyword ranks or how a page scores. The AI calls this helper, and the helper asks Citable for the data. Citable replies with a price, and the helper pays it in USDC from a wallet on your machine. Then Citable sends the result back, and the AI shows it to you in the chat. If a call fails or costs more than your limit, nothing is charged.

What you can do with it

  • Check which AI engines cite a domain for your question
  • Audit one page and get a citability score with ordered fixes
  • See where a domain ranks on Google for a keyword
  • Get search volume, difficulty and intent for a list of keywords
  • Find related keywords and questions for a seed topic
  • Compare several domains inside the AI-answer index
  • See the pages AI answers cite most for a domain

Try asking your AI

  • “What keywords should I target for a page about home coffee grinders?”
  • “Audit https://example.com/pricing and tell me what to fix first”
  • “Does my domain get cited by AI engines for the question best CRM for small business?”
  • “Show me the top pages AI answers cite for hubspot.com”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in your chat: lists of keywords with numbers, a score for a page with a list of fixes, a ranking position plus the top ten results, or a list of AI engines and who they cite. Every paid result also includes a payment reference so you can see the on-chain settlement. If a call is too expensive or your wallet is empty, you get a clear error instead of a charge.
