mBank CSV Parser MCP server
by bartosz-kuc
Let your AI read and total your mBank CSV transaction exports, all on your own computer.
This is a small helper that lets your AI read the CSV file you download from mBank. You export your transactions from the mBank website, then ask your AI things like how much you spent on a category. It is handy for anyone in Poland who uses mBank and wants quick answers without opening Excel.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill. This helper gives your AI the skill of reading your mBank CSV file. So when you ask a question about your transactions, the AI can look them up for you instead of guessing.
What this MCP server does
You download your transactions from mBank as a CSV file and save it on your computer. You tell your AI what you want to know, for example how much you spent on insurance. Your AI asks this helper to open the file and filter or add up the rows. The helper reads the file locally, works out the numbers, and hands the result back. Your AI then shows you the answer in the chat.
What you can do with it
- Preview a CSV file: client name, date range, accounts, totals
- Filter transactions by date range
- Filter by category, account, or a word in the description
- Filter by smallest or largest amount
- Add up money in, money out, and net totals
- Group totals by category, account, or month
Try asking your AI
- “How much did I spend on Ubezpieczenia in Q2?”
- “List all incoming transfers over 10 000 PLN this year.”
- “Show me every card purchase mentioning Anthropic.”
- “Give me a summary of my operations by month for 2026.”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers in the chat: lists of transactions, totals per category or month, counts, and money in and out. Amounts come as numbers where a minus means money spent, with the currency shown separately. For a preview, you get the client name, date range, accounts, and overall totals without listing every row.

What you need
