ITIN Finance MCP server

by bguillow-rgb

Lets your AI look up US lenders and cards that accept ITIN applicants, plus plain guides in English and Spanish.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Which lenders accept an ITIN for a car loan in Texas?”, the ITIN Finance MCP server connects it to ITIN finance sites, and you get back A short answer with links.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to a set of websites about borrowing and building credit in the US with an ITIN instead of a Social Security number. It is handy if you or someone you help is new to US credit and wants to know which banks and lenders actually say yes to ITIN applicants. Everything it gives back is educational information, not advice or an application.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program you connect once, and it gives your AI a new skill or a link to a service. This helper links your AI to the ITIN finance sites, so when you ask about ITIN loans or cards, it can look things up there instead of guessing. You just ask in normal words, and the helper fetches the answer for you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like which lenders accept an ITIN for a car loan in Texas. The AI passes your question to this helper. The helper reads the published data from the ITIN finance sites, including a verified list of lenders and card issuers, guides, and FAQs. It sends back a short answer with the sources it used. You see that answer in your chat, with links you can open to read more.

What you can do with it

  • Find lenders and card issuers that accept ITIN applicants for a chosen loan type
  • Narrow that list down to your state
  • Read a plain-language guide on building credit with an ITIN
  • Get a direct answer from a large set of FAQs in English or Spanish
  • Look up the IRS Form W-7 steps for getting an ITIN
  • Check state-level facts like tax contributions and driver's license rules for ITIN holders
  • Pull up a fuller profile for one institution, including when it was last verified

Try asking your AI

  • “Which credit cards accept an ITIN instead of a Social Security number?”
  • “Can I get a mortgage with an ITIN in California?”
  • “How do I build credit history with an ITIN?”
  • “What are the steps to get an ITIN from the IRS?”

What it gives back to you

You get short written answers in the chat, often with a quick summary line and a link to the full article. For lender questions, it returns a list of institutions with the loan or card types they cover and citation links. For state questions, it gives a short note about tax and driver's license context. Nothing is changed anywhere, because this helper only reads.
