BlockBeats News MCP server
by kukapay
Lets your AI pull the latest blockchain news and in-depth articles from BlockBeats, in English or Chinese.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to BlockBeats, a site that publishes blockchain and crypto news. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI for the latest headlines or a longer article, and it will go fetch them for you. It is handy if you follow crypto news and want a quick summary without opening a dozen tabs.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill, in this case a connection to BlockBeats. When you ask for crypto news, your AI hands the request to this helper, the helper talks to BlockBeats, and the news comes back into your chat. You do not need to understand how it works under the hood, you just ask in plain words.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like "what is the latest crypto news?" The AI passes that request to this helper. The helper reaches out to BlockBeats and asks for the newest fast news items or the newest longer articles. BlockBeats sends back the titles, short summaries, links and timestamps. Your AI then shows them to you in the chat, so you can read them or ask follow-up questions.
