PandaStock MCP server
by D-Asce
Ask your AI for live Chinese A-share prices, market news, and stock lists, straight from your chat.
This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to live Chinese stock market data (A-shares). It comes from a project called pandaData, and it lets your AI look up prices, market news, and stock lists for you. It is handy if you follow Chinese stocks and want quick answers without opening a finance website.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to a Chinese stock data service, so it can look up real market information when you ask. You install it once, and then your AI can reach that data during your normal conversation.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about Chinese stocks, like a price or the latest market news. Your AI passes that request to this helper program running on your computer. The helper talks to the pandaData service and asks for the data you wanted. The service sends the answer back, and your AI shows it to you in the chat. You never have to open a website or copy numbers by hand.
What you can do with it
- Look up the current price of a single Chinese stock
- Get a list of all A-share stocks
- See live snapshots of the main Chinese market indexes
- Read the latest Chinese and global financial news
- Check which stocks hit their daily up or down limit
- See concept and industry sector lists and their live prices
- Ask for daily price history of a stock or index
Try asking your AI
- “What is the current price of Kweichow Moutai, code 600519?”
- “Show me today's Chinese financial news headlines.”
- “Which stocks hit the daily limit up today?”
- “Give me the daily price history for stock 600519.”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers in your chat: prices, lists of stocks, news headlines, and simple numbers. For example, if you ask for a stock price, your AI replies with the current price and maybe a short summary. If you ask for news, you get a short list of headlines. Everything shows up as normal text you can read right away.
Before you start
What you need

Good to know
The public test account is shared and rate limited, so it may stop working if too many people use it at once, and the data is for information only, not financial advice.
