DealX MCP server

Lets your AI search for ads on the DealX platform and bring the results back into your chat.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to DealX, a platform for classified ads. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI in normal words to look for something on DealX, and it will do the searching for you. It is handy if you browse DealX often and want answers without clicking around the site yourself.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. It cannot open websites or look things up in other apps. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill. This one gives your AI a connection to DealX, so it can search the ads there when you ask.

What this MCP server does

You type a request in plain words, like asking for laptops or apartments. Your AI reads that request and passes it to this helper. The helper then talks to the DealX platform and asks it for matching ads. DealX sends back a list of ads, and your AI shows them to you in the chat. You never have to open the DealX site yourself unless you want to.

What you can do with it

Search DealX ads by a keyword you type
Sort results so the newest ads come first
Ask for a specific number of results, up to 100
Page through results when there are many ads

What it gives back to you

You get a list of matching ads back in your chat, based on what you asked for. Each result comes from the DealX platform, so it reflects what is currently listed there. Your AI can then summarize the list or point out the ones that fit what you described. It does not change anything on DealX, it only looks things up.

What you need

An AI assistant that supports MCP, like the Claude desktop app
Node.js version 20 or newer installed on your computer
npm version 11 or newer

Good to know

It only searches ads for now, so it cannot post, edit, or delete anything on DealX.
