LeetCode MCP server
by doggybee
Lets your AI look up LeetCode problems, daily challenges, user profiles and contest results for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to LeetCode, the site where people practice coding puzzles. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI things like "what is today's challenge?" or "show me medium array problems" and it will go and fetch the answer. It is handy for anyone practicing for coding interviews or just working through problems for fun.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one extra skill, in this case the ability to talk to LeetCode. When you ask a question about problems, users or contests, your AI passes the request to this helper, the helper fetches the information from LeetCode, and your AI tells you the result in plain words.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about LeetCode, like "what is today's daily challenge?" or "find me medium problems about arrays". Your AI sends that request to this helper program. The helper then talks to LeetCode's own service and pulls back the matching problems, user info or contest details. Your AI reads the reply and shows it to you in the chat, usually as a short list or a summary. You never have to open LeetCode yourself unless you want to go solve the problem.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Get today's LeetCode daily challenge
- Search problems by difficulty or topic tags
- Look up the full details of a specific problem
- Check a user's profile and recent submissions
- See a user's contest ranking
- Get the details of a past or upcoming contest
Try asking your AI
- “What is today's LeetCode daily challenge?”
- “Find me 10 medium problems tagged array and dynamic programming”
- “Show me the profile and recent submissions for the user neetcode”
- “What were the details of the weekly contest 400?”
What it gives back to you
You get back plain answers in the chat: a list of problem titles with their difficulty and tags, the full text of a problem, a user's stats and recent submissions, or contest details. It is all shown as text you can read right there, no extra files to open. If you asked for a search, you usually get a short list you can then ask follow-up questions about.
Before you start
What you need
- The Claude desktop app (or another AI app that supports MCP servers)
- Node.js installed on your computer (the free program that runs this helper)
Good to know
It only reads public LeetCode information, so it will not change anything on your account, but remember that anything it fetches is shown to your AI as part of the conversation.
Install it with your AI
Add LeetCode MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check LeetCode MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People practicing coding interviews, students learning algorithms, and anyone who wants quick answers about LeetCode problems and contests without leaving their AI chat.
