by forgemeshlabs

Lets your AI buy crypto market context, risk checks and audited trade decisions using small crypto payments.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Is Bitcoin calm or risky to trade right now?”, the CoinOpAI Kronos MCP server connects it to Kronos crypto service, and you get back market report and receipt.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to Kronos, a paid crypto market intelligence service. You ask your AI a question about Bitcoin or other coins, and it buys a small report for you. It is handy for people who follow crypto markets and want a record of what was said and how it turned out.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to Kronos, a paid crypto market service, so it can look up market context and decisions for you. When you ask, the helper talks to that service and brings the answer back into your chat.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something about a coin, like whether the market looks calm or risky right now. Your AI passes that request to this helper program running on your computer. The helper contacts the Kronos service, which asks for a small payment in USDC (a digital dollar) on the Base network. The helper pays automatically from a wallet you set up, then brings the report back. You see the result in your chat, and each paid answer comes with a receipt showing the payment.

What you can do with it

  • Check whether the market is open for a trade and if there is a cooldown
  • Get a market context report for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP or Cardano
  • Get a calibrated 80% price range for a coin
  • Get a decision journal entry with a tracking ID you can audit later
  • Audit an earlier decision against real prices and see if it held
  • Look up futures funding, open interest and crowding
  • Search a library of agent automation prompts

Try asking your AI

  • “Run a preflight check on Bitcoin and tell me if the market is open”
  • “Get me a crypto decision for ETH and save the decision ID”
  • “Audit that decision from an hour ago and tell me the verdict”
  • “What is the calibrated 80% price range for SOL right now”

What it gives back to you

You get back short structured answers: a market state, a direction with a confidence number, a price range, a risk level, or an audit verdict like GOOD_DECISION or BAD_DIRECTION with a percentage. Each paid answer also includes a payment receipt with the on-chain transaction hash when available. Everything shows up as text in your chat, so you can read it or copy it. Some answers include a decision ID you keep so you can check the outcome later.

Before you start

What you need

  • Node.js 18 or newer installed on your computer
  • A Base network wallet with a small amount of USDC (about $1 covers several checks)
  • The private key of that wallet, kept on your own machine
  • The Claude desktop app or Claude Code

Good to know

Every request spends real money from your wallet, so use a dedicated low-balance wallet and treat the output as context, not as advice to buy or sell.
