FSB Browser Automation MCP server

by fullselfbrowsing

Let your AI drive your own signed-in Chrome to click, type, read pages, and fill forms for you.

FSB is a Chrome extension plus a small helper that lets your AI assistant control your own browser. You describe a task in plain English, and it works through the page for you. It is handy for anyone who repeats the same clicks and typing on websites all day.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to your own Chrome browser, so it can look at pages and do things there when you ask. You stay in control because it runs on your computer and uses the Chrome you are already signed into.

What this MCP server does

You tell your AI what you want done, like searching for something or filling in a form. The AI sends that request to this helper, which passes it to the FSB Chrome extension. The extension reads the actual page structure, clicks, types, scrolls, and checks that each step worked. Then it sends the result back, and you see what happened in your chat.

What you can do with it

  • Search the web and summarize the results
  • Fill in forms and pick options in dropdowns
  • Click through pages and collect information
  • Read a page and give you a short summary
  • Compare products and prices across pages
  • Upload a file into a website's upload box
  • Watch a page element and tell you when it changes

Try asking your AI

  • “Search for cats on Google and tell me the top results”
  • “Open this page and summarize what it says”
  • “Fill in the contact form on this site with my details”
  • “Watch the price on this product page and tell me if it drops”

What it gives back to you

You get back plain answers in your chat, like a summary, a list of items, or a short note that a step was done. It can also show logs of what it clicked and typed. If something changed on the page, it tells you what it found. You do not get screenshots; it works from the page structure instead.

Before you start

What you need

  • The FSB Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store
  • Node.js 18 or newer on your computer
  • An MCP client like Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf
  • No FSB API key needed when your MCP client's model does the thinking

Good to know

It can click, type, and upload files in your real signed-in browser, so watch what it does and test on non-critical pages first.

Install it with your AI

Add FSB Browser Automation MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check FSB Browser Automation MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
