Mushi Mushi MCP server
by kensaurus
Your AI reads user bug reports and explains what broke in plain English, with a fix you can paste.

Mushi Mushi is a bug-report helper. When a user reports something broken in your app, Mushi collects the details and turns them into a plain-English explanation of what went wrong. It is handy for solo builders and small teams who ship fast and then lose time figuring out why something broke.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Mushi Mushi, so when you ask what is broken in your app, it can look up the reports and diagnoses for you. You do not need a second AI key for this; it reuses the one your app already has.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like what is broken in production. The AI uses this Mushi Mushi helper to reach the Mushi service. Mushi looks at the bug reports it has collected, including screenshots, the page the user was on, and recent console and network events. It then gives back a plain-English root cause and a fix prompt you can paste into your editor. If you want, it can also open a draft pull request on GitHub for you to review.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Ask what is broken in your app right now
- Get a plain-English explanation of a bug's root cause
- Receive a paste-ready fix prompt for your editor
- See which reports are duplicates of the same bug
- Dispatch an automated fix that opens a draft GitHub PR
- Pull bug details into Cursor or Claude Code without leaving your editor
Try asking your AI
- “What's broken in prod?”
- “Show me the latest bug reports and explain what went wrong”
- “Give me a fix prompt for the checkout button issue”
- “Dispatch a fix for the slow dashboard report”
What it gives back to you
You get back a short, plain-English diagnosis: what broke, why, and a fix prompt you can copy. Reports come as a list with the user's note, the page, and the device. If a fix is dispatched, you get a link to a draft pull request. Everything shows up right in your chat with the AI.
Before you start
What you need
- A Mushi Mushi project ID and API key (the wizard gives you these)
- An AI editor like Cursor or Claude Code
- Node.js 20.19 or newer
- For self-hosting: an Anthropic or OpenAI key and a Supabase project
Good to know
The fix dispatch can open pull requests on your GitHub, so review any draft PR before merging.
