Influencer Finder MCP server
by mambalabsdev
Let your AI find influencers by keyword or niche across seven platforms, filtered by follower count.
This is a helper for your AI that searches for influencers and creators for you. You give it a topic or a niche, and it comes back with a list of creator handles and their follower counts. It is handy if you work in marketing, partnerships, or social media and you need to find people to reach out to.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to the Influencer Finder service on Apify, which searches social platforms for creators. Once it is connected, your AI can look up influencers for you just by asking.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to find influencers about a topic, like budget travel or meal prep. The AI sends your request to this helper, which runs a search on Apify's Influencer Finder across the platforms you choose. It looks at TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitch, Threads, and podcasts. Then it hands back one row per creator per platform, with their handle and follower count. You can narrow it down by follower range or by how many creators you want.
What you can do with it
- Search for influencers by keyword across seven platforms
- Pick a curated niche to load a ready-made set of search terms
- Filter creators by minimum and maximum follower counts
- Choose which platforms to search, like TikTok or YouTube
- Cap how many creators come back so the list stays manageable
- Set a spending limit in dollars for a search run
- See a reason row when a creator could not be read, instead of a silent gap
Try asking your AI
- “Find me 50 travel influencers on TikTok and Instagram with between 10,000 and 100,000 followers”
- “Search for meal prep coaches on YouTube and Pinterest with at least 5,000 followers”
- “Use the fitness niche and give me 20 creators per keyword on Instagram”
- “Find podcasts about personal finance and cap the search at 200 creators”
What it gives back to you
You get back a list of creator rows, one per creator per platform. Each row has the creator's handle, the platform, and a follower count when the search showed one. It also includes a status and a reason field, so if something could not be read you see why instead of nothing. In the chat, this usually shows up as a table or a list you can skim.
Before you start
What you need
- An Apify account (the service that runs the search)
- An Apify API token, which is a kind of password for apps that you get free from your Apify account page
- The Claude desktop app or another AI app that supports MCP servers
- Node.js installed on your computer if you run it on your own machine
Good to know
This service charges per creator found on Apify, so searches cost money; you can set a dollar cap to limit it. The run also shares the public records it finds into a shared pool by default, which you can turn off.
