Maple MCP server

by maple-kit

Lets your AI read reviewers' comments on a preview page, fix them, and mark them resolved.

Maple is a tool for reviewing a website or app while it is still in preview, before it goes live. A reviewer clicks on something and leaves a comment, and this MCP server lets your AI read those comments and fix them. It is handy for developers and small teams who want the AI to handle the back-and-forth of review comments.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This server connects your AI to Maple, the review tool that holds the comments people left on a preview page. With it, your AI can look up those comments, see what they are about, and mark them as fixed when it is done.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI to check for new review comments. The AI uses this helper to talk to Maple and pull in each comment, along with the details of where the reviewer pointed and what they were looking at. The AI then makes the change in your code. When it is done, it marks the comment as resolved, tied to the version of the code it fixed. A separate check in your build pipeline keeps the merge on hold until every comment is resolved.

What you can do with it

  • Read new review comments left on a preview page
  • See where on the page each comment points
  • Fix the issue the reviewer described
  • Mark a comment as resolved once it is fixed
  • Keep working until all open comments are handled

Try asking your AI

  • “Check for any new review comments on the preview and fix them”
  • “What did the reviewer say about the header on the preview page?”
  • “Fix all open comments and mark them resolved”
  • “Are there any unresolved review comments blocking the merge?”

What it gives back to you

You get the reviewer's comments in the chat, with the context of what they pointed at and what they said. After the AI makes fixes, it tells you which comments it resolved. If anything is still open, it will say so, and the merge stays on hold until those are handled.

Before you start

What you need

  • A GitHub token (a kind of password for apps; GitHub gives you one in your account settings)
  • The name of the GitHub owner and repo where comments are stored
  • Maple set up in your project so reviewers can leave comments on the preview

Good to know

It can mark review comments as resolved and change your code, so check the fixes before you merge.

Install it with your AI

Add Maple MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Maple MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
