openpouch MCP server
by openpouch · official
Let your AI deploy a folder to a live web address, check it works, read logs, and roll back.

openpouch is a hosting service made for AI coding assistants. It lets your assistant take a folder of code and put it online at a real web address, then check that it actually works. It is handy if you build small apps or websites with an AI helper and want them live without clicking through a dashboard.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to openpouch, a hosting service, so the AI can put your app online, look at it, and manage it for you. You just ask in plain words, and the helper does the technical steps behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to put your project online. The AI uses this helper, which sends your files to openpouch's own servers. openpouch builds the app, starts it, and gives back a live web address. The AI can then check that the page loads, read the logs, and tell you in plain words what happened. If something is wrong, it can roll back to the previous working version.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Deploy a folder to a live web address
- Check that the deployed site is actually working
- Read the logs to see what went wrong
- Inspect what is currently live and which version
- Roll back to an earlier working version
- List your deployed apps
- Delete one of your own preview apps
Try asking your AI
- “Deploy this folder and give me the live link”
- “Is my site still up? Check it and tell me in plain words”
- “Show me the last 50 lines of logs for my app”
- “Something broke after the last deploy, roll it back”
What it gives back to you
You get back a live web address you can open in your browser, plus a short plain-language summary of what happened. When you ask for a check, it tells you whether the page loaded and whether anything looked broken. Logs come back as lines of text you can read. If it rolled back, it tells you which earlier version is now live.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI assistant that can use MCP servers, like Claude Code or Cursor
- Node.js installed on your computer (the free program that runs npx commands)
- Nothing else to start: free previews work with no account
Good to know
The AI can put things online and roll them back on its own, but production deploys and payments always need a human to approve, so keep an eye on what gets published.
Install it with your AI
Add openpouch MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check openpouch MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who build small apps or websites with an AI coding assistant and want them online without learning a hosting dashboard.
