Kash POS MCP server
Let your AI record sales, check reports and manage customers in your Kash shop account.

This is the official helper that connects your Kash account (a free online cash register, invoicing and customer system) to an AI like Claude or ChatGPT. Once it is connected, you can just talk to your AI about your shop instead of clicking through menus. It is handy for shop owners, restaurant managers and small business teams who already use Kash.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app, and here it connects your AI to your Kash shop. So when you ask your AI to record a sale or show a report, it passes the request to this helper, the helper talks to Kash, and the answer comes back to you in the chat. You do not need to know how it works inside.
What this MCP server does
You type a normal sentence, like recording a sale or asking for this week's revenue. Your AI reads it and uses this helper to send the right request to your Kash account. Kash does the work, for example saving the sale or building the report. Then the helper sends the result back, and your AI explains it to you in plain words in the chat. It can also add or change things in your catalog and customer list when you ask.

- Get a sales report for a day, month or year
- Add, edit or delete items, departments and VAT rates
- Add, edit or delete customers with their contact details
- List orders, payments, tables, staff and other shop data
- Create a new Kash account and log in with a one-time code
- Check who your best customers are this month
Try asking your AI
- “Record a sale of 2 coffees and 1 croissant at table 84”
- “Show me this week's revenue report”
- “Add a new item called Summer Tart at 4.50 in the Pastries department”
- “Who are my best customers this month?”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat, in normal sentences. For example a short confirmation that a sale was recorded, a list of orders or customers, or a sales report you can read right there. When you change something, like adding an item or a customer, it tells you it was done. Some reports come back as a summary you can open.
Before you start
What you need
- A Kash account (free to create, and you can even create it from the chat)
- Your SHOPID and APIKEY from Kash under Setup, Webservices (only needed if you run it yourself)
- For the hosted option, just an AI app that supports connectors, like Claude.ai or ChatGPT
Good to know
This helper can change real data in your shop, like recording sales or deleting items and customers, so check before you confirm anything that removes or edits records.
