QuanticData is a service that fetches web pages for you, even ones that normally block robots. This MCP server connects that service to your AI assistant, so you can just ask for a page, a search or a whole site and get an answer back. It is handy if you collect prices, leads, news or research from the web and do not want to copy and paste pages by hand.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to QuanticData, so when you ask for a web page or a search, the AI can actually go and fetch it. You stay in the chat, and the helper does the fetching behind the scenes.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like "scrape this page" or "search Google for this". The AI passes your request to this helper program on your computer. The helper sends it to the QuanticData service using your own account key, and QuanticData fetches the page or search results through its proxy network. The result comes back to your AI, which turns it into a clean answer, a list or a summary for you. For bigger jobs like crawling a site or building a dataset, the helper starts the job and then checks on it until it is done.

What you can do with it

  • Scrape a single web page and get it back as clean Markdown or text
  • Search Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo and get structured results
  • Search and read the top pages, with numbered sources ready to cite
  • Map a site to find its URLs, then crawl only the sections you want
  • Run ready-made collectors for Google Maps places, jobs, news, shopping or leads
  • List your proxy plans and generate ready-to-use proxy connections
  • Whitelist your server IP for proxy plans that need it

Try asking your AI

  • “Scrape the pricing page at example.com and give me the plans and prices.”
  • “Search Google Shopping for nintendo switch oled in the US and list the cheapest 5.”
  • “Map docs.example.com, then crawl only the /guides/ pages and summarize them.”
  • “List my proxy plans and generate 5 sticky US residential proxies as socks5 URLs.”

What it gives back to you

You get answers in the chat, not raw files. Depending on what you asked, that could be a clean Markdown version of a page, a list of search results with titles and links, a set of numbered sources with short summaries, or a table of rows from a collector. For long jobs like crawls or datasets, the AI checks back and tells you when it is finished, and collector rows can be exported as CSV.

Before you start

What you need

  • A QuanticData account with an API key that starts with qd_live_ (you get it from your QuanticData dashboard)
  • Node.js 18 or newer if you run it on your own computer
  • An MCP client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or Cline

Good to know

It uses your QuanticData account, so scraping, crawling, searches and collectors can use up your paid quota or budget, and you are responsible for using the data you collect lawfully.
