This is a small helper that lets your AI assistant check how your brand shows up in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini. It is handy for marketers, founders and SEO people who want to know what AI tools say about them. You just ask in plain words, and you get scores, sentiment and competitor mentions back.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to another service. This one connects your AI to a brand visibility checker, so it can look up how your brand appears across AI platforms. You ask a question, your AI passes it to this helper, and the helper sends back the results.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like how visible is my brand on ChatGPT. Your AI sends that request to this helper program running on your computer. The helper works out a visibility score, checks sentiment, and looks at which competitors show up next to your brand. Then your AI shows you the results in the chat as scores, lists and short notes. It can also compare several brands side by side and suggest what to improve.

What you can do with it

  • Check your brand's visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini
  • Get a 0 to 100 visibility score with a tier rating
  • See whether AI platforms describe your brand positively, neutrally or negatively
  • Find out which competitors appear alongside your brand
  • Compare up to 10 brands side by side
  • Get prioritized suggestions to improve your AI visibility
  • Look up a single query on a single platform

Try asking your AI

  • “How visible is my brand Acme Coffee across AI platforms?”
  • “Compare my brand with three competitors on ChatGPT and Perplexity”
  • “What is my AI visibility score and what should I improve first?”
  • “Does Claude mention my brand when asked about best running shoes?”

What it gives back to you

You get back a visibility score from 0 to 100 with a tier label like Good or Moderate. You also get a breakdown per platform, mention rates, where your brand appeared in the answer, and whether the tone was positive, neutral or negative. For comparisons you get a ranked list of brands. Recommendations come back as a short prioritized list of steps.

Before you start

What you need

  • The Claude desktop app or another app that supports MCP servers (like Cursor)
  • Node.js installed on your computer (the free program that runs small tools like this)

Good to know

The scores come from a built-in model with seeded randomness, so treat them as a rough guide rather than a live measurement of what each AI platform actually says right now.
