Ask your AI about blockchain activity across many chains and get clear answers with evidence.

This is a helper from the SQD team that lets your AI look up blockchain data for you. You ask a question in plain words, and it checks transactions, wallet movements, token transfers, and price candles across many networks. It is handy if you follow crypto, check wallets, or need quick onchain numbers without opening a block explorer.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to SQD Portal, a place that holds blockchain data. Once connected, your AI can look things up there and bring answers back to your chat when you ask.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI a question about a blockchain, like what a wallet has been doing or how many transactions happened on a network. Your AI sends that question to this helper. The helper checks the wording, picks the right network, and asks SQD Portal for the data. SQD Portal returns the matching records, and the helper hands your AI a tidy answer with notes about how fresh and complete the data is. Your AI then explains it to you in the chat.

What you can do with it

  • Look up what a wallet has been doing on a network
  • List recent activity on chains like Ethereum, Base, or Solana
  • Chart transaction counts or price candles over a time window
  • Find token transfers, logs, and traces for a contract
  • Check when a contract was deployed and how busy it is
  • Resolve a token symbol or protocol name into a usable filter
  • See fills and market activity on Hyperliquid

Try asking your AI

  • “What has this wallet been doing on Base lately? 0x1234...abcd”
  • “Show me recent activity on Ethereum”
  • “Chart hourly transaction counts on Base for the last day”
  • “Show BTC price action and trading volume on Hyperliquid for the past hour, using five-minute candles”

What it gives back to you

You get a written answer in the chat, often with a short summary and a table or chart of the matching rows. The helper also adds notes about the time window it covered, whether the data is fresh, and whether there is more to see. If you asked for candles or counts, you may get a chart-ready result your AI can show or describe.

Before you start

What you need

  • An AI app that supports MCP connectors, like Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok
  • The hosted address https://portal.sqd.dev/mcp added as a custom connector
  • No account or API key needed

Good to know

This server only reads data, so it will not move funds or change anything, but always double-check important numbers before acting on them.

Install it with your AI
