TON MCP server

by tonnode

Lets your AI look up TON wallet balances, tokens, transactions and swap quotes for you.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “How much GRAM is in this wallet?”, the TON MCP server connects it to TON network, and you get back plain answer in your chat.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to The Open Network, usually called TON, which is a blockchain where people hold and send a coin called GRAM. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI questions about a wallet or a token, and it will go and check the network for you. It is handy for anyone who works with TON wallets or tokens and does not want to click around block explorers all day.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to TON, so it can look up balances, tokens, transactions and swap prices there when you ask. You do not need to understand how it works inside, you just add it once and then talk to your AI like normal.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like how much GRAM is in a certain address. Your AI passes that question to this helper, which talks directly to TON's network instead of going through a website in the middle. The helper brings back the answer, and your AI explains it to you in the chat. It can also read token balances, list recent transactions, check whether a contract is deployed, and get swap quotes between GRAM and other tokens.

What you can do with it

  • Check the GRAM balance of any TON address
  • Check how much USDT or another token sits in a wallet
  • Look up a token's name, symbol and decimals
  • See recent transactions on an address, with amounts and fees
  • Check whether a contract is deployed and what state it is in
  • Get a swap quote between GRAM and another token
  • Prepare an unsigned swap transaction for a wallet to sign
  • Create a brand new TON wallet with a 24-word recovery phrase

Try asking your AI

  • “How much GRAM does EQD...abc hold?”
  • “How much USDT is on this wallet and did my last payment arrive?”
  • “What are the decimals and symbol of this jetton?”
  • “How much USDT would I get for 100 GRAM right now, and prepare the swap for my wallet to sign”

What it gives back to you

You get plain answers in the chat: a number for a balance, a short list of recent transactions with amounts and fees, or a token's name and decimals. Swap quotes come back with the amounts, the price impact and the route used. If you ask it to prepare a swap, it hands back an unsigned transaction that your wallet app can sign, and the signing stays with you.

Before you start

What you need

  • The Claude desktop app or another AI app that supports MCP servers
  • Node.js installed on your computer (the free program that runs the helper)
  • A TON address or token address you want to look up

Good to know

The wallet creation tool hands back secret keys and recovery words, so treat any wallet it makes as temporary and never paste those words into chats, logs or shared documents.

Install it with your AI

Add TON MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check TON MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
