ZeroDrop MCP server

by zerodrop-dev

Give your AI a temporary email inbox so it can grab verification codes and login links for you.

ZeroDrop is a helper that hands your AI a throwaway email address. When a website sends a signup code or a login link to that address, your AI can read it and use it. It is handy for anyone testing signups, logins, or email flows without using their real inbox.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot open an email inbox or click a link inside a message. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, and this one gives it a connection to ZeroDrop's disposable email service. So when you ask your AI to sign up somewhere and confirm the email, it can create a temporary inbox, wait for the message, and pull out the code for you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI to sign up for something or test a login flow. The AI uses this helper to create a temporary email address, like swift-x7k29ab@zerodrop-sandbox.online. It puts that address into the signup form, then waits for the email to arrive. When the message shows up, the helper reads it and pulls out the verification code or the login link. Your AI then uses that code or link to finish the step, and the temporary inbox disappears after about 30 minutes.

What you can do with it

  • Create a temporary email address in an instant
  • Wait for a verification email to arrive
  • Pull the one-time code out of an email automatically
  • Pull the magic login link out of an email automatically
  • Filter emails by sender or subject
  • Check an inbox for recent messages without waiting
  • Test a signup or login flow from start to finish

Try asking your AI

  • “Create a temporary inbox and sign up for my test app with it, then tell me the verification code”
  • “Wait for the email from noreply@myapp.com and give me the code inside it”
  • “Check the inbox and tell me if anything has arrived yet”
  • “Sign up for this service, grab the magic link from the email, and open it”

What it gives back to you

You get back the email details in your chat: who sent it, the subject, when it arrived, the code, the login link, and a short preview of the message. If nothing has arrived yet, you get an empty list. The codes and links are already pulled out, so you do not have to read through the email yourself.

Before you start

What you need

  • The Claude desktop app, Claude Code, Cursor, or another app that supports MCP servers
  • Node.js installed on your computer (the install command uses npx)
  • Nothing else for the free version. A paid workspace key is optional

Good to know

The temporary inbox is public in the sense that anyone who knows the address could read it, so do not use it for private or important accounts, and remember it disappears after about 30 minutes.

Install it with your AI

Add ZeroDrop MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check ZeroDrop MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
