Fluxmail MCP server
by churichard · official
Let your AI read, search, draft, send and organize email across your mailboxes.

Fluxmail is a helper you run yourself that connects your email accounts to your AI assistant. Once it is set up, your AI can look through your inbox, write drafts, send messages and tidy things up for you. It is handy if you deal with a lot of email and want your AI to handle the boring parts.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to your email mailboxes, so it can look things up or do things there when you ask. You run Fluxmail yourself, so your mail and passwords stay on your own computer or server.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about your email, like finding a message or writing a reply. Your AI passes that request to Fluxmail, which is running on your machine or server. Fluxmail then talks to your email provider, such as Gmail, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com or any IMAP/SMTP mailbox. It brings the answer back to your AI, which shows it to you in the chat. If you asked it to do something like send or archive, Fluxmail makes that change in your mailbox.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List and search your email across several mailboxes
- Read full messages and whole conversation threads
- Write drafts, replies and forwards
- Send email and schedule it for later
- Mark mail as read, star it or archive it
- Move messages between folders or send them to Trash
- Manage Gmail labels or Outlook categories
- Download attachments
Try asking your AI
- “Show me the unread emails from this week in my work mailbox”
- “Find the last message from Sarah and summarize the thread”
- “Draft a polite reply to the invoice email and save it as a draft”
- “Archive everything from the newsletter folder older than a month”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in plain chat: lists of messages, short summaries of threads, or the text of a draft. When you ask it to change something, like archiving or sending, it tells you what it did. Attachments come back as files you can open. Everything shows up right in the conversation with your AI.
