HP Enterprise Stock Hits Record High on AI Server Demand

HP Enterprise shares jumped nearly 20% to close above $56 Tuesday after the company reported quarterly earnings that beat analyst expectations and raised its sales forecast. The stock was the S&P 500's best performer as the broader market reached a new high.

The company posted adjusted earnings of 79 cents per share on $10.68 billion in revenue-a 40% year-over-year increase. Server sales in its cloud and AI segment grew 32.7% to $5.5 billion, outpacing analyst estimates.

What the Numbers Show

HP Enterprise's cloud and AI server business is where the growth is concentrated. CEO Antonio Neri told investors that "traditional server orders increased triple digits, as customers continue to modernize their compute infrastructure and invest in AI inferencing."

The company raised its full-year sales growth forecast to 29% to 33%, up from its previous guidance of 17% to 22%. Third-quarter forecasts also came in well above expectations: $11.5 billion to $12.1 billion in sales.

Analyst Response

JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley raised their price targets to $68 and $71, respectively. UBS nearly tripled its target to $65. The mean analyst price target across all firms polled by Visible Alpha sits just above $71.

Since the start of 2026, HP Enterprise shares have more than doubled. Over the past year, they've tripled.

Why This Matters for Sales Teams
