AI agent for plumbers
Parts Availability and Substitution Agent
Arrive at every job with the right parts or reschedule early.
What it does
A repair visit is wasted when the right part is not in the van and the supplier is out of stock. For each scheduled job, this agent lists the likely parts from the job description, checks van stock and supplier stock, and suggests compatible substitutes when items are missing. It rechecks the list the day before the visit and flags jobs to reschedule if a critical part cannot be had. You approve the order and any customer notice. Edge case: a specific faucet cartridge is out of stock everywhere, but a cross-compatible cartridge fits, and the agent proposes it with the compatibility source.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
