Sudact MCP server
by atomno-mcp
Let your AI search Russian court decisions and pull up the full text of a case for you.

This is a helper that connects your AI to Sudact, a public site with Russian court decisions. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to find cases and read them, instead of clicking around the site yourself. It is made for lawyers and legal teams, but anyone who needs to look up Russian court practice can use it.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Sudact, the Russian court practice site, so it can search decisions and fetch full texts when you ask. You do not need to install anything complicated on your side; the search and caching happen on the service's side.
What this MCP server does
You type a request to your AI, like find cases about a certain article of the law from a certain court. The AI passes that request to this helper. The helper talks to the Sudact service over the internet, which searches the decisions and sends back a list. If you then want the full text of one case, the AI asks the helper again and you get the whole decision in the chat. You can also ask it to hide personal data in the text before you read it.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search Russian court decisions by keywords in the text
- Filter cases by article of law, court, instance, and date range
- Get a list of matching cases with links and case IDs
- Read the full text of a chosen decision
- Hide personal data in the decision text when you need to
- Limit how many results come back in one search
Try asking your AI
- “Find recent court decisions about article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code from regional courts”
- “Show me cases from 2023 where the court of first instance ruled on a labor dispute”
- “Pull up the full text of this case and hide the personal data”
- “Search for decisions mentioning a specific contract clause in arbitration courts”
What it gives back to you
You get back a list of matching cases, each with a case ID and a link, plus a count of how many were found. When you ask for a full text, you get the whole decision written out in the chat. If you asked for anonymization, the personal details in that text are hidden. Everything shows up as plain text you can read or copy.
Before you start
What you need

Good to know
It needs a paid key, and the decisions come from public sources, so check anything important before you rely on it.
Install it with your AI

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Sudact MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
