ZeroDOM MCP server

by DevHusnainAi

Let your AI read and click through a real Chrome page you are already logged into, using simple numbered items.

ZeroDOM is a helper that lets your AI look at a web page and act on it, like clicking buttons or filling in forms. It works with the Chrome browser you are already signed into, so you do not have to log in again. It is made for people who test websites or want an AI to do repetitive browser tasks.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to a live Chrome page, so it can see what is on the page and do things there for you when you ask. You stay in control because the AI only acts when you tell it to.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI to look at a web page, and it uses this helper to read the page. The helper turns the page into a short numbered list of things you can click or type into, like [03] button Sign In. Your AI picks the right number, and the helper clicks or types on the real page. Then it tells your AI what changed, so you see the result in your chat.

What you can do with it

  • Open a web page and get a short list of what you can click or fill in
  • Click buttons and links by their number
  • Type text into forms and search boxes
  • Take a screenshot of the page
  • Read the page again without reloading it
  • Find a specific button or field by name
  • Open, switch, and close browser tabs

Try asking your AI

  • “Open news.ycombinator.com and list the top stories”
  • “Go to the login page and fill in my email”
  • “Click the Sign In button and tell me what changed”
  • “Take a screenshot of the current page”

What it gives back to you

You get back a short list of numbered items, like [01] a 'Show HN: ...' or [03] button 'Sign In'. When your AI clicks or types, you get a short note about what changed on the page, like a new box appeared or a value changed. You can also get a screenshot saved to your computer. Everything shows up right in your chat.

Before you start

What you need

  • Python 3.10 or newer (or Node.js if you use the TypeScript version)
  • The uvx tool (a way to run Python programs)
  • Google Chrome browser
  • The Playwright browser helper (installed with one command)

Good to know

This tool can read your live browser cookies and run code in your logged-in session, so only use it with an AI you trust and never share it with strangers.

Install it with your AI

Add ZeroDOM MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check ZeroDOM MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,361 MCP servers here for you.
