HirePulse is a helper that connects your AI assistant to a live service full of public company information. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI things like which jobs a company is hiring for, what technology their website uses, or what ads they run. It is handy for sales people, recruiters, and anyone doing research on companies.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to HirePulse, a service that gathers public information about companies. When you ask a question, your AI quietly asks HirePulse through this helper, then tells you what it found.
What this MCP server does
You type a question in your AI chat, like asking about a company's job openings or website tools. Your AI sends that request to the HirePulse helper running on your computer. The helper passes it along to the HirePulse service online. HirePulse looks up the public information and sends an answer back. Your AI then shows you the result in plain language in the chat.

What it gives back to you
You get answers in the chat, usually as short lists or summaries. For jobs, you might see role titles and locations. For technology checks, you get a list of tools the site uses. For merchant checks, you get a screening result. Empty results are not charged against your free allowance.

- Node.js version 20 or newer installed on your computer
- Nothing else to start: the first few calls each day are free
Good to know
The free allowance is five calls per day shared across tools, and some scans cost money after that, so check prices before running paid lookups.
