FourA MCP server
by fouradata · official
Let your AI fetch web pages for you, even ones that normally block robots.

FourA is a helper that lets your AI open web pages and bring back what is on them. It is made for pages that are hard to read, like shopping sites or pages that try to block automated visits. If you often ask your AI to look something up online and it says it cannot reach the page, this is for you.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program you connect once, and it gives your AI a new skill. This one gives your AI the skill of visiting web pages and reading them, here through the FourA service. After you connect it, you can just ask your AI to fetch a page and it will use this helper to do it.
What this MCP server does
You give your AI a web address, or you ask it to look something up. Your AI passes that address to this helper. The helper then tries to open the page, starting with a simple request and moving to stronger methods if the page pushes back. When it gets the content, it hands it back to your AI, which shows it to you or answers your question. It also tells you which method worked and roughly what it cost.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Fetch a web page and give you its text
- Read a page that normally blocks automated visits
- Pull product details like title, price, and stock from a shop page
- Grab an article and strip out the ads and menus
- Check whether a page or link is up and responding
- Fetch several web addresses at once
- Watch a price and compare it to a target you set
Try asking your AI
- “Fetch this page and tell me what it says: https://example.com/article”
- “Get the current price of this product from this shop link”
- “Check whether this link is working and tell me the status”
- “Fetch these three pages and summarize each one”
What it gives back to you
You get back the content of the page, usually as text you can read in the chat. For product pages it can come back as a tidy list of details like title, price, and stock. It also tells you which method it ended up using and how many credits it spent. If the page could not be read, you get a short explanation of what went wrong.
Before you start
What you need
- A FourA account and an API key (a kind of password for apps; you create one for free on the FourA dashboard)
- An MCP client like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or VS Code
- Node.js installed if you run it on your own computer
Good to know
It uses up credits from your FourA account each time it fetches a page, and some pages with heavy protection can use more, so keep an eye on your usage.
Install it with your AI
Add FourA MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check FourA MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who ask their AI to look things up online, like researchers, analysts, marketers, and anyone who checks prices or reads web pages often.
