Deep Thinker is a helper for your AI that turns a messy question into a structured chain of thoughts. Instead of one quick answer, your AI builds a small map of ideas, weighs them, and points out weak spots. It is handy for anyone who has to make a decision, plan a project, or figure out why something broke.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to something. This one gives your AI a thinking workspace: a place where it can lay out thoughts, compare them, and keep track of the reasoning. You ask a question, and the AI uses this helper to reason more carefully before answering.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI a tricky question, like whether to split a system into smaller parts or how to fix a recurring error. The AI sends its thoughts to Deep Thinker, which stores them as connected notes in a graph. Deep Thinker can apply different reasoning styles, such as arguing both sides of a question, exploring several options at once, or imagining what would happen if you changed one thing. It also checks how confident each thought is, flags when the thinking is going in circles, and suggests what to do next. At the end, you get a summary with the main finding, supporting points, and action items.

What you can do with it

  • Break a big decision into smaller, connected thoughts
  • Explore several options side by side instead of one at a time
  • Argue both sides of a question and look for a middle ground
  • Spot when the reasoning is stuck or repeating itself
  • Score how confident the AI is in each thought
  • Save a thinking session and pick it up again later
  • Get a final summary with the main conclusion and next steps

Try asking your AI

  • “Help me decide whether we should move our app to smaller services or keep it as one piece.”
  • “Our checkout page keeps failing on Fridays. Walk through possible causes and pick the most likely one.”
  • “We have five features for next quarter and can only build two. Compare them and recommend which.”
  • “I keep going back and forth on this pricing change. Challenge my thinking and help me settle it.”

What it gives back to you

You get back a structured answer in the chat: a short summary of the reasoning, a confidence score, and the main conclusion. It can also show the map of thoughts, list the branches explored, or point out gaps and contradictions. At the end, a summary tool gives you the primary finding, supporting evidence, and a short list of action items.
