TabPilot MCP server
by hunglp97
Let your AI control the Chrome you're already signed into: read pages cheaply, click buttons, and fill tricky web forms.

This is a connector between your AI assistant and the normal Google Chrome browser sitting on your computer. Instead of launching some strange robot browser nobody trusts, it drives the same Chrome where all your logins already exist. Handy for anyone whose work happens inside websites they must sign into, such as company dashboards, internal portals, surveys, or admin panels.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can just talk to you. An MCP server is a little helper program running quietly next to your AI, giving it extra abilities. This particular helper connects your AI to your real, already-open Chrome. So when you say "go find my latest invoice", the AI asks TabPilot, TabPilot pokes around your actual browser tab, and sends the answer straight back to the chat.
What this MCP server does
When you give your AI a job involving a website, the AI tells TabPilot what to do rather than guessing blindly. TabPilot finds the right open tab, grabs only the useful part of the page so your conversation doesn't waste space, clicks links and fills fields the way a person would, handles stubborn modern forms built with frameworks like React or Vue, takes pictures of a page in the background while leaving your screen alone, and reports errors clearly enough that the AI knows how to try again differently.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List everything currently open across your browser windows
- Pull out readable article-style content from almost any page
- Click specific buttons, menu items, or table cells reliably
- Fill login boxes, search fields, dropdown menus, and long application forms
- Answer grid questions in online surveys row by row
- Take full-page or targeted-element snapshots silently behind whatever else you're doing
What it gives back to you
For simple actions, expect confirmation messages saying whether each request succeeded. When asked to gather information, you'll see tidy lists or paragraphs distilled from the relevant parts of the webpage, plus optional screenshot images embedded right in the reply. Numbers, dates, names, totals, error notices, whatever matters gets surfaced concisely so follow-up decisions come easy.
