Supabase MCP server
Let your AI list, create, and delete your Supabase projects and organizations for you.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Supabase, the service where your databases and projects live. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI in plain words to show your projects, make a new one, or clean up old ones. It is handy if you already use Supabase and want to skip clicking around the website.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Supabase, so it can look things up or make changes there when you ask. You stay in the chat, and the helper does the clicking behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You type a request in your AI chat, like asking to see your Supabase projects. Your AI passes that request to this helper program running on your computer. The helper then talks to Supabase using your account key and asks for the information or makes the change. Supabase sends the answer back, and your AI shows it to you in the chat in plain words. You never have to open the Supabase website yourself.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List all your Supabase projects
- Show the details of one project
- Create a new Supabase project
- Delete a project you no longer need
- Get the API keys for a project
- List all your organizations
- Create a new organization
Try asking your AI
- “Show me all my Supabase projects”
- “Create a new Supabase project called test-app”
- “What are the API keys for my project called my-website”
- “List my Supabase organizations”
What it gives back to you
You get answers right in the chat. For a list request, you see the names and details of your projects or organizations. For a create or delete request, you get a short confirmation that it worked. For API keys, the keys themselves are shown to you so you can copy them.
Before you start
What you need
- A Supabase account
- A Supabase API key (a kind of password for apps; you get it from your Supabase account settings)
- The Claude desktop app or another AI app that supports MCP servers
- Node.js installed on your computer
Good to know
This helper can create and delete real Supabase projects, so double check before you tell your AI to delete anything.
Install it with your AI
Add Supabase MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Supabase MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who already use Supabase and want to manage their projects and organizations from their AI chat instead of the website.
