FauxGen is a small helper that lets your AI create pretend people and details, like a fake name, address, phone number or test card. It is handy when you need sample data for testing a form or a demo, and you do not want to use real information. It works inside tools like Cursor and Claude Desktop.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to something else. This helper connects your AI to FauxGen, a fake data generator. So when you ask for a sample customer from Germany, your AI can actually produce one instead of making something up.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI for some fake data, like a test user or a phone number. Your AI passes that request to this helper. The helper creates the made-up details for the country or type you asked for. Then your AI shows you the result right in the chat. You can copy it into your test or document.

What it gives back to you
You get back the fake details as text in the chat. For a full identity, that includes a name, address, phone, email, job and a test card. For a single item like a phone number, you just get that one thing. You can copy it straight into your work.
