Job Board Keyword Signal Scanner
by mambalabsdev
Check a company's job board for the roles you care about and get counts and hiring signals back.
This is a helper for your AI that looks at a company's job board and tells you which roles they are hiring for. You give it a company website address and the kinds of roles you want to check, and it comes back with counts and a simple signal. It is handy if you work in sales, recruiting, or research and want to know who is hiring without clicking through job pages yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to a job board scanning service, so when you ask about a company's hiring, the AI can actually go look it up for you. You do not need to understand how it works inside; you just ask in plain words.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI something like 'check stripe.com for engineering roles'. The AI passes that to this helper, which runs a scan on the Apify platform. The scan looks at the company's job board across five common hiring systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, and Rippling. It counts the open roles that match the categories you picked and works out a simple signal strength. Then the result comes back to your chat as a tidy summary.
What you can do with it
- Check if a company is hiring engineers, sales people, finance staff, or executives
- Scan a company's job board across five common hiring systems in one go
- Use your own keywords if the built-in categories do not fit
- See how many open roles match each category you asked about
- Get a simple signal strength like low, medium, or high
- Track what changed since a previous scan by passing in old role titles
- Spot the most recent posting date for a company's open roles
Try asking your AI
- “Is stripe.com hiring engineers? Scan their job board for Engineering roles.”
- “Check openai.com for GTM and Executive openings.”
- “Scan figma.com for Finance and Operations roles.”
- “Look for roles matching machine learning and platform at datadoghq.com using custom keywords.”
What it gives back to you
You get back a short summary in the chat: how many roles matched, the top matched role title, the hiring system the company uses, and a signal strength word like low, medium, or high. It also shows the most recent posting date and the date the scan ran. If you passed in roles from a previous run, it can tell you what is new or gone.
