WaveXisMCP browser helper
Lets your AI open your own Chrome or Firefox, click around, take screenshots, and read what is on a page.

WaveXisMCP is a helper program that lets your AI drive a real web browser on your computer. It uses the Chrome, Edge, or Firefox you already have, so there is nothing big to download. It is handy if you want your AI to visit pages, fill in forms, or grab screenshots for you.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot open a website or click a button. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill. This one gives your AI a connection to your web browser, so it can go to pages, look at them, and do things there when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI to do something in a browser, like take a screenshot of a page or click a login button. Your AI calls this helper, which controls your real Chrome or Firefox in the background. The browser opens the page, does the action, and sends the result back. Your AI then tells you what happened or shows you the picture. You never have to touch the browser yourself.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Take a full-page screenshot of any website
- Open a page and read its text or title
- Click buttons and fill in forms on a page
- Save a page as a PDF file
- Check a page for accessibility problems
- Run a performance audit on a site
- Reuse your existing browser profile with your logins
Try asking your AI
- “Take a full-page screenshot of https://example.com”
- “Go to our login page and fill in the username field with test@example.com”
- “Run a Lighthouse audit on https://example.com and tell me the score”
- “Open https://example.com and click the login button”
What it gives back to you
You get back answers in the chat, like a screenshot image, a PDF file, or a short summary of what the page says. It can also return numbers from audits, lists of links or text, or a note that it clicked or typed something. Everything shows up right in your conversation with the AI.
Before you start
What you need
- Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox installed on your computer
- Python 3.11 or newer (the helper runs on Python)
- An MCP client like Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, or VS Code
Good to know
It controls a real browser, so it can click, type, and change things on websites, and it can use your saved logins if you point it at your browser profile.
