Google Search Console MCP server
by mikusnuz
Ask your AI about your site's Google search performance, sitemaps and indexing status.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to Google Search Console and the Google Indexing API. Once it is set up, you can just ask questions in plain words instead of clicking around the Search Console website. It is handy for anyone who runs a website and wants quick answers about how it shows up in Google search.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Google Search Console and the Google Indexing API, so it can look up your search data, check pages and send indexing notifications for you. You ask in normal words, and the helper does the technical talking behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like how your site performed last month. The AI passes that request to this helper, which talks to Google Search Console on your behalf. Google sends back the numbers, and the AI turns them into a clear answer for you. The same works for listing your sites, managing sitemaps, inspecting a URL and sending indexing notifications for eligible pages.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- See which search queries your site ranks for
- Check clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position
- Compare performance between mobile and desktop
- List, add, submit or delete sitemaps
- Inspect a URL to see its index status and crawl info
- Notify Google about eligible job posting or livestream URLs
- List all the sites in your Search Console account
Try asking your AI
- “What queries did my site rank for in the last 30 days?”
- “Show me clicks and impressions for my homepage this month.”
- “Are there any pages with indexing errors on my site?”
- “Submit my sitemap to Google.”
What it gives back to you
You get answers written in the chat: lists of queries, tables of clicks and impressions, sitemap details, or a short report on a page's index status. When you ask it to submit a sitemap or send an indexing notification, it tells you whether Google accepted the request. Numbers and dates come back as normal text you can read and copy.
