Mobile MCP server
by mobile-next
Lets your AI open, tap, and read apps on your phone, tablet, or emulator for you.

This is a helper that lets your AI work with mobile apps on iOS and Android. It can run on simulators, emulators, and real phones or tablets connected to your computer. It is handy if you test apps, fill in forms, or want your AI to walk through an app step by step.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to mobile devices, so it can look at what is on the screen, tap buttons, and type text when you ask. Think of it as giving your AI a pair of hands on a phone.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like open the settings app and turn on airplane mode. Your AI sends that request to this helper program running on your computer. The helper talks to the connected phone, emulator, or simulator and does the taps and typing. Then it reads back what is on the screen so your AI can tell you what happened. You get the result in your chat, plus screenshots or lists of what is on screen if you want them.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List the phones, emulators, and simulators available to your AI
- Open an app by its name and close it again
- Tap, double tap, long press, and swipe on the screen
- Type text into fields and press device buttons like Home or Back
- Take screenshots and save them to a file
- Install or uninstall an app from a file on your computer
- Read device logs and crash reports
Try asking your AI
- “List the mobile devices you can see right now”
- “Open the settings app and tell me what is on the screen”
- “Take a screenshot of the current screen and save it to my desktop”
- “Install this app file and then launch it”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in plain chat, like a list of devices or a description of what is on the screen. It can also give you screenshots, saved image files, screen recordings, and lists of buttons and text with their positions. If it changed something, like opening an app or typing text, it tells you what it did. Logs and crash reports come back as text you can read or save.
