AgentPay VN is a helper that lets your AI collect payments by bank transfer in Vietnam. Your AI makes a VietQR code, sends it to the person paying, and then waits until the money really lands in the seller's bank account. It is handy for small shops, freelancers, and anyone who sells through a chat.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill. This helper connects your AI to AgentPay VN, a payment service for Vietnam. Once connected, your AI can ask AgentPay to make a payment code and check whether the money has arrived, all while you just talk to it normally.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI to collect a payment, for example 50,000 dong for an order. The AI uses this helper to ask AgentPay for a payment request, and AgentPay sends back a VietQR code image and a checkout link. Your AI shows that code or link to the person paying. The person scans it with their banking app and sends the money straight to the seller's bank account. AgentPay watches the seller's bank feed, and when the matching transfer shows up, it marks the payment as settled, so your AI knows it is safe to hand over the goods or the download link.

What it gives back to you

You get back a payment code image link, a checkout page link, and a status word like pending or settled. When you ask it to wait, it keeps checking and then tells you the final status. If you ask for recent payments, you get a short list with amounts and times. Everything shows up as normal text in your chat.

What you need

An AgentPay API key (a kind of password for apps; you get one from the admin dashboard or the platform operator)
Python installed on your computer if you run the helper yourself
The pip package agentpay-vn installed

Good to know

This is early access software and it handles real money requests, so test with a sandbox key first and double check the amount and bank details before you send a payment code to a customer.
