This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to your Meta Ads account, which covers Facebook and Instagram ads. Once it is set up, you can just talk to your AI about your campaigns instead of clicking around Ads Manager. It is handy for marketers, small business owners, and anyone who runs ads but does not want to fight with the dashboard.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. It cannot see your ad account or change anything there. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill, in this case a connection to your Meta Ads account. So when you ask about your campaigns, the AI passes the question to this helper, and the helper talks to Meta for you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something about your Facebook or Instagram ads, like how a campaign is doing or what you spent last week. The AI sends that request to this helper. The helper talks to Meta's systems and pulls back the numbers or details you asked for. Then the AI explains it to you in plain words in the chat. If you ask it to make a change, like pausing an ad or updating a budget, it will ask you to confirm first, then make the change.

What you can do with it

  • List all the ad accounts you can access
  • Show your campaigns and how they are performing
  • Pull performance insights like spend, clicks, and results
  • Create new campaigns, ad sets, and ads
  • Upload images and build ad creatives
  • Update budgets and pause or resume campaigns
  • Suggest where to move budget based on results

Try asking your AI

  • “Which of my campaigns spent the most last week?”
  • “Show me the performance of my active Facebook campaigns this month.”
  • “Pause the campaign called Summer Sale.”
  • “What headlines are running in my Instagram ads right now?”

What it gives back to you

You get answers written in the chat, like a short summary of your campaign performance or a list of your ad accounts and campaigns. When you ask for numbers, it gives you things like spend, clicks, and results. If you ask it to make a change, it tells you what it did after you confirm. Everything shows up as normal text in your conversation.
