Telegram bot MCP server (aiogram)
by Py2755
Let your AI send Telegram messages, build button menus, and watch chat events through your own bot.

This is a helper that connects your own Telegram bot to an AI assistant like Claude Desktop. Once it is set up, your AI can send messages, read chat history, and react to what people do in your chats. It is handy if you already run a Telegram bot and want your AI to help run it.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to your Telegram bot, so the AI can send messages and look things up in your chats. You just ask in plain words, and the helper does the work through your bot.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something, like sending a message or checking who is in a chat. The AI uses this helper, and the helper talks to your Telegram bot. Your bot then does the thing in Telegram, like posting the message or showing a button menu. The result comes back to you in the chat with your AI, so you can see what happened.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Send text messages to a Telegram chat
- Send photos, videos, files, voice notes, and stickers
- Create messages with clickable buttons and edit them later
- Look up chat details, member counts, and user profiles
- Ban or unban users and change chat title or description
- Subscribe to live events so your AI reacts when messages arrive
- Send a poll or a location pin to a chat
Try asking your AI
- “Send a message to my team chat saying the server is back up”
- “Post a poll in the group asking what time works for the meeting”
- “Who is in the support chat and how many members are there”
- “Send a photo to chat 123456789 with the caption new dashboard”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in your AI chat, like a short confirmation that a message was sent, or details about a chat and its members. It can also show lists, such as recent messages or a list of active chats. When your AI reacts to a live event, you see what happened and what it did about it. Some actions, like sending a message, show up right away in your Telegram chat too.
