German Tenders MCP server
by qune-tech
Search German public tenders and match them against your company profile, right from your AI chat.

This is a small helper program that connects your AI assistant to a database of German public tenders. You can ask your AI to find tenders that fit your company, or to look up details of a specific notice. It is handy if you work in sales, bidding, or procurement and want to spot relevant public contracts without clicking through portals yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to the Vergabe Dashboard, a service that collects German public procurement notices. Once it is set up, your AI can search that service and bring answers back into your chat when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You type a request in plain words, like asking for tenders about school building renovations in Bavaria. Your AI passes that request to this helper program running on your computer. The helper turns your words into a kind of number code locally, sends only that code and your filters to the Vergabe Dashboard, and gets matching tenders back. Then your AI shows you the results as a list, with titles, buyers, deadlines, and values. You can also save a profile of your company once, and later ask the AI to match new tenders against it.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search German public tenders by meaning, not just keywords
- Filter tenders by phase, sector code, country, value range, deadline, buyer, or procurement method
- Fetch the full notice details for a specific tender
- See the notice history of a procurement, from first announcement to award
- Create and save a profile describing your company and its interests
- Match your saved profile against all tenders to find good fits
- List, update, or delete your saved company profiles
Try asking your AI
- “Find German tenders about IT support services for schools, published in the last 30 days.”
- “Which open tenders in Bavaria have a value above 200,000 euros and a deadline in the next two weeks?”
- “Show me the full details of this tender: [paste the tender ID].”
- “Match my company profile against current tenders and list the ten best matches.”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in your chat: lists of tenders with titles, buyers, deadlines, and values, or a short summary of a single notice. For matching, you get a ranked list of tenders that look closest to your company profile. When you create or update a profile, the AI confirms what was saved. The raw notice data can also be shown as a structured block if you ask for it.
Before you start
What you need
- An API key from vergabe-dashboard.qune.de (this requires their Pro plan, which costs 99 euros per month)
- About 120 MB of free disk space for a language model that downloads automatically the first time
- An internet connection
- An AI app that supports MCP servers, like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or LM Studio
Good to know
The API key costs money through the Pro plan, and the service can see which sectors, buyers, and value ranges you look at, even though your exact search words and profile text stay on your computer.
