MCP Orchestrator
by rupinder2
Connect many MCP servers at once and let your AI search across all their tools in one place.

MCP Orchestrator is a helper that sits between your AI and all the other MCP servers you use. Instead of adding each server one by one and filling up your AI's memory, you add them here and your AI can search across all of them. It is handy if you have several MCP servers and want one tidy place to manage them.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This MCP Orchestrator is a helper that connects to other MCP servers and gathers their tools together, so your AI can look things up and do things across all of them when you ask. Think of it as a switchboard that keeps all your other helpers in one room.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI what you want to do, in normal words. Your AI asks the orchestrator to search for a matching tool across all the servers you registered. The orchestrator finds the right tool, calls it on the correct downstream server, and brings the result back. You see the answer in your chat, and you never had to remember which server had which tool.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search across all your connected MCP servers at once
- Find a tool by describing what you want in plain words
- Find a tool using a pattern when you know part of its name
- Call a tool on any registered server through one connection
- Add new downstream servers with a simple config file
- Keep tool definitions cached so things stay quick
- Use memory storage for testing or Redis for busier setups
Try asking your AI
- “Find me a tool that can check the weather”
- “Search for anything related to sending emails”
- “Call the weather tool on my weather server for London”
- “Show me what tools are available on my notes server”
What it gives back to you
You get back whatever the downstream tool returns, shown right in your chat. For searches, you get a list of matching tool names and how many were found. For tool calls, you get the actual result, like a weather report or a list of notes. The orchestrator passes results through without changing them.
Before you start
What you need
- Python installed on your computer
- The mcp-orchestrator package installed with pip
- A server_config.json file listing the MCP servers you want to connect
- Optional: Redis if you want to use the Redis storage backend
Good to know
It can call tools on your other MCP servers, so anything those tools can change or delete, this can trigger too.
Install it with your AI
Add MCP Orchestrator to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check MCP Orchestrator, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
People who already use several MCP servers and want one place to search and call their tools, especially those running Claude Desktop or Cursor locally.
